Quintessa Red 2021

This Napa Valley red is a standout, showcasing bold Cabernet characteristics with layers of ripe dark fruits, cedar, and a touch of cocoa. It’s balanced by bright and elegant hints of violets, hibiscus, iron, and chalky minerals. Silky tannins give way to a polished, luxurious finish. 2021 Napa vintage - ideal growing conditions led to smaller yields but exceptional quality with vibrant flavors and excellent ripeness. This red estate wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon (91%), with small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Carménère, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Harvested Sept. 8 - Oct. 18, 2021, aged 22 months in 65% new French oak, 32% neutral oak, 3% terracotta amphora, bottled July 2023.
