Opus One 2021

The 2021 Opus One is a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% each of Merlot and Malbec. This wine has a deep garnet hue and bright ruby rim. Bursting with blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry, and floral violet notes, complemented by hints of cedar and vanilla bean. As it breathes, flavors of tobacco, cocoa, and mint start to appear. Well-structured and balanced palate with medium to full body, smooth and bold. Rich flavors of blackcurrant, plum, boysenberry, fresh herbs, black olive, and bay leaf. Smooth velvety tannins, bright acidity for a balanced texture.
