Colene Clemens Vineyards is a small, family-owned estate in the Chehalem Mountains of Oregon's Willamette Valley — one of the subappellation's most distinctive and celebrated wine regions, whose ancient volcanic and marine sediment soils produce Pinot Noir of exceptional complexity and age-worthiness. Founded by John and Vicki Ladd with a commitment to sustainable farming and minimal intervention winemaking, Colene Clemens has built a devoted following among Oregon Pinot enthusiasts who prize its wines for their precision, depth, and the unmistakable stamp of the Chehalem Mountains terroir. The Victoria is the estate's flagship single-vineyard Pinot Noir, named in honor of a cherished figure in the winery's history.

The 2021 Colene Clemens Victoria Pinot Noir is sourced from the estate's most expressive vineyard blocks in the Chehalem Mountains, capturing the subappellation's signature combination of volcanic richness and marine sediment mineral depth. The 2021 vintage in the Willamette Valley was warm and concentrated, delivering wines of excellent depth and structure. Deep ruby in the glass, the nose is complex and layered: ripe dark cherry, blackberry, and dried rose petal layered with subtle notes of spice, forest floor, and a distinctive earthy, mineral depth. On the palate, the wine is medium-to-full-bodied with fine, silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish of real elegance and persistence.

The Colene Clemens Victoria Pinot Noir 2021 is exceptional alongside roasted duck, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto, or herb-roasted chicken — an Oregon Pinot of genuine single-vineyard character and collector-worthy quality.
