Blend: 70% Cabernet, 28% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc
Alcohol: 13.5%! We're going back to the old days.

Aged 12 months in 60% new French oak. Intense dark purple in the glass. Alluring and concentrated nose of blackcurrant, red berries, seasonings, vanilla, and toasted fragrances. The wine offers a well-balanced structure, with a smooth and lengthy finish. Its rich and velvety texture leaves a lasting impression on the palate. Even though this is a young wine, it is surprisingly approachable now and will continue to age gracefully.

Château Mongravey, located in Arsac within the Margaux appellation, was established in 1980 by Régis Bernaleau, combining prime parcels between Château Giscours and Château du Tertre. Now a family-run estate, with Karin Bernaleau managing marketing and her son Jérôme overseeing viticulture, Mongravey earned “Cru Bourgeois Supérieur” status in 2020. Its 36-acre vineyard on gravel soils produces low-yield wines known for exceptional quality and value.
