This wine boasts a deep, intense color, hinting at its richness and complexity. The nose is refined, offering concentrated aromas of dark berries layered with hints of spice and subtle licorice. The finish is long and vibrant, with a fresh and spicy aftertaste that lingers gracefully.
As a Grand Cru Classé from 1855, Château Belgrave reflects a pursuit of excellence. Located at the edge of the St-Julien appellation, separated only by a stream, it is one of the Médoc’s oldest vineyards. Awarded a 5th growth classification due to its high-quality gravel soils, the estate thrives with late-ripening varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, which make up 4% of the vineyard today.
