Fruity aromas of cranberries and cherries in this pink sparkling rosé. The wine's dry palate features vibrant acidity and subtle tannins, complementing its striking fruity bouquet. Made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the calcareous clay soils of a single vineyard, "La Fassina," is located in Avinyonet del Penedès. The grapes are harvested at night to maintain their naturally high acidity. This wine is perfect for salmon, shrimp, or, tuna dishes.
Until the late 19th century, the Esteve family relied on farming and selling crops and a small amount of wine from Can Fontanal farmhouse. With phylloxera's spread, a banking crisis hit the region due to the destruction of Spanish vineyards and savings. Joan Esteve Marcè journeyed to France to find vines resistant to phylloxera, rebuilding with determination. He brought back new rootstocks that were resistant to the pest. His son, Joan Esteve Nadal, expanded family's land to four parcels, replanted many vineyards with indigenous varieties like Xarello, Parellada, and Macabeu. Avinyo exclusively cultivates estate-owned vineyards, which is uncommon for Cava producers. Currently, a new generation of four siblings runs the winery, blending tradition with technology and a commitment to quality in making their cavas.
