This Xinomavro has a bright dark ruby color in the glass and a complex bouquet of sundried tomatoes, smoky black fruits, strawberries, dark cherries, licorice, and spices. The full-bodied palate showcases rich fruit depth of blackberries and plums, with herbaceous hints and subtle oak notes, and velvety tannins leading to a long, aromatic finish. This hearty wine pairs well with a variety of Mediterranean dishes, such as red meats, roasted lamb, sausages, peppers, and cheeses.

Superb Xinomavro from Amyndeon, made from 100% grapes from the "Barba Yannis" vineyard. Centenarian vines from 1919, cultivated on Macedonia's Amyndeon plateau using gobelet method at 647m elevation, facing Mount Voras. Traditional and high quality winemaking, including destemming, crushing, and cold soaking for increased skin contact. Indigenous yeasts ferment the wine for 24 months with sur lies aging and stirring. Matured 24 months in Allie-Jupilles French oak casks and 12 months in bottle before release. Unfined and Unfiltered to maintain its complex character.
