The 2022 Alois Lageder Versalto Pinot Bianco is a 100% Pinot Bianco from the estate's biodynamic vineyards, vinified in stainless steel to preserve the wine's natural freshness and mineral character. Pale gold with a green tinge, the nose is clean and expressive, revealing fresh apple, pear, and white peach layered with hints of white flowers, a subtle almond note, and a distinctive flinty mineral character that speaks to the limestone soils of Alto Adige. On the palate, the wine is light-to-medium-bodied with lively acidity, a clean, dry mid-palate, and a long, refreshing finish with a pleasantly mineral note that lingers.
