Hailing from the storied family estate Sassetti Livio Pertimali nestled on the Montosoli hill in the northern Montalcino area, this Rosso di Montalcino 2022 reflects the estate’s deep roots in Tuscan Sangiovese. Made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grown on limestone- and clay-rich soils, the wine undergoes careful vinification and aging to highlight purity and regional character. 

On the nose you’ll discover vibrant cherry and red-berry fruit, overlaid with violet florals, dusty earth and a subtle hint of blood orange and spice. The palate offers smooth, refined tannins, lively acidity and a fresh, lingering finish - a beautifully balanced Tuscan red that can be enjoyed soon yet possesses enough depth to evolve gracefully over the next few years.
