Experience Loire Valley craftsmanship in every bubble with Jo Landron Atmosphères Extra Brut. This biodynamic sparkling wine is a refined blend—typically around 36% Folle Blanche, 33% Pinot Noir, and 31% Chardonnay—made using the classic traditional method to deliver an energetic, terroir-driven experience.
Appearance & Aromas
A crystalline wine with fine, persistent bubbles, it opens with vibrant aromas of white flowers, pear, quince, and redcurrant, layered with hints of brioche and mineral clarity.
On the Palate
The attack is lively and refreshing, revealing flavors of citrus, wet stone, green apple, and brioche, all framed by a crisp extra-brut dryness and refined minerality.
Terroir & Winemaking
Grown across diverse soils—gravel, clay, sand, amphibolite—Jo Landron nurtures his organically and biodynamically maintained vineyards with meticulous care. Grapes are hand-harvested, gently whole-bunch pressed, then fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine undergoes second fermentation in the bottle and ages 12–24 months on the lees before disgorgement and an ultra-light dosage.
Food Pairings
A versatile and elegant sparkler, it’s an ideal companion to oysters, seafood appetizers, smoked fish, charcuterie, fresh vegetables, soft cheeses, and light poultry dishes.
Why It Stands Out
Jo Landron’s Atmosphères masterfully marries Loire Valley purity and finesse with minimal intervention winemaking. Expect bright citrus, wry minerality, creamy lees complexity, and a bone-dry, extra-brut finish—all at exceptional quality and value.
