Tabarrini’s “Boccatone” is a powerful and intense red comprised of Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Barbera. Full-bodied with backbone and ample tannins. The wine is aged for 18 months in French barrique and big oak casks. It is then bottle aged for 12 months. You have traditional grapes (Sagrantino and Sangiovese) with the addition of the Barbera that makes this wine a future classic of Montefalco.
